This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction port and a 5" discharge port with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. The internal assembly utilizes a stainless steel shaft paired with a bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, allowing for a temperature rating of 250 °F. The unit also incorporates AEGIS shaft grounding and features a dry shaft design that prevents the circulating fluid from contacting the shaft.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 15 HP TEFC WEG motor. The electrical configuration is 230-460/60/3, and the motor is built on a NEMA 254 T-frame. The system meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and has a DOE PEI value of 0.92. It is mounted on a welded base that includes a drip pan and is connected to the motor by a Woods coupler protected by an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The pump is configured for across-the-line starting.
