This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a stainless steel impeller with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, providing a temperature rating of 250°F. Pressure tappings are integrated into the suction and discharge connections, and the casing includes an integral drain port.
This unit is powered by a 15 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a NEMA 254T frame. It operates at 1750 RPM on a 230-460/60/3PH power supply with across the line starting. The assembly is configured with a welded base, an integral drip pan, and a Woods coupler. Additional features include AEGIS shaft grounding and a premium efficiency rating, with a DOE PEI value of 0.93. The motor meets NEMA MG1-12.55 standards and is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature.
