This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump assembly consists of a cast iron casing and a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal is constructed with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The casing includes gauge ports for suction and discharge connections, as well as a bottom drain port.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is driven by a 40 HP TEFC motor. The motor is a 324 TS frame and requires a 230-460/60/3 power supply with across-the-line starting. It includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and features a Woods coupler with a standard coupler guard. This equipment is rated for a 40 °C ambient environment and has a DOE PEI value of 0.95.
