This Taco CI Series close coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 9-1/2" diameter bronze impeller and a bronze wear ring. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design with a slip-on bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal constructed with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. It operates at fluid temperatures up to 250°F. The unit includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, flush seal line taps, and a rear pullout design that allows for service without disturbing system piping. The top center line discharge configuration supports self-venting and reduces piping strain.
The pump is configured with a 5 HP Baldor TEFC motor that operates at 1750 RPM. It utilizes a JM frame style with feet and requires 230-460/60/3PH power. The motor meets NEMA standards and premium efficiency requirements under MG1-12.55, and it includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The starting option is across the line, and the unit is rated for a 40°C ambient environment with counter-clockwise rotation. This pump has a PEI value of 0.87.
