This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit consists of a cast iron casing and an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It uses a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that isolates the shaft from the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal assembly includes a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, supporting operation up to 250°F. The casing includes integrally cast mounting feet and provides pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 30 HP Baldor Super E TEFC motor in a NEMA 286 frame. The power configuration is 230/460V, 60Hz, 3PH. The motor features AEGIS shaft grounding, a 40°C ambient rating, and is configured for across the line starting with a CCW rotation.
