This base-mounted end suction pump comprises a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller. It integrates a stainless steel shaft paired with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve, utilizing a dry shaft design rated for 125 PSI. A mechanical seal with a ceramic seat and EPT rubber components limits fluid contact with the shaft assembly. The casing includes suction and discharge pressure tappings for system monitoring.
The assembly utilizes a 2 HP premium efficiency TEFC motor operating at 1750 RPM, equipped with Aegis grounding and powered by a 200-240V 1PH electrical supply, with a DOE PEI rating of 0.44. The 'S' in the SCI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a mechanical disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
