This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit uses a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze wear ring. The pump assembly consists of a cast iron casing, a stainless steel shaft, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It is configured with a mechanical seal utilizing a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, providing a temperature rating of 250 °F. The dry shaft design prevents circulating fluid from contacting the stainless steel shaft.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM using a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. This unit is configured for a 230-460/60/3 PH power supply and utilizes a NEMA 213 T-frame motor with premium efficiency and AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor connects to the pump via a Woods coupler, which is protected by an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The pump is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan. The system has a DOE PEI rating of 0.91 and is rated for a 40 °C ambient environment with across-the-line starting.
