This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a cast iron casing and cover, an 11" nominal stainless steel (NSF61) impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. The dry shaft design prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal uses a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, supporting fluid temperatures up to 250°F. The pump incorporates flush seal line taps, pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, and a rear pullout design for servicing. The top center line discharge configuration simplifies piping layouts and reduces piping strain.
The pump is configured with a 15 HP Baldor motor in a 254 JM frame style with feet and a TEFC enclosure. It operates at 1750 RPM on a 230-460V/60/3PH power supply with an across-the-line starting option. The motor is a premium efficiency unit that meets MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature and maintains a PEI value of 0.91.
