This Taco CI Series close coupled end suction pump features a 6" suction connection and a 5" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing and cover, a stainless steel impeller with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter, and a bronze shaft sleeve. The unit utilizes a dry shaft design with a slip-on shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The pump includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing system piping, while the top center line discharge aids in self-venting. The unit is rated for temperatures up to 250°F.
The pump is powered by a 25 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure and operates at 1750 RPM. It is configured for 575V, 60Hz, 3PH power with an across the line starting option. The motor is housed in a 284 JM frame with feet and rotates in a CCW direction. It meets NEMA standards and premium efficiency requirements under MG1-12.55, including AEGIS shaft grounding. The ambient temperature rating is 40°C, and the pump maintains a DOE PEI value of 0.92.
