This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction connection and a 2-1/2" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller, and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal comprised of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The assembly employs a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. A 10" nominal impeller diameter provides the specified hydraulic performance for the pump.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a NEMA 213 T frame. It is configured for 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply with across the line starting. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and features a standard Woods coupler protected by a coupler guard. This model includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The pump achieves a DOE PEI rating of 0.94 and operates in environments with an ambient temperature of 40 °C.
