This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction connection and a 2-1/2" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 13-1/2" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The pump utilizes a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump volute includes a center-line discharge and a dry shaft design that prevents the circulating fluid from contacting the shaft.
The unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP Baldor Super E premium efficiency TEFC motor with an AEGIS shaft grounding ring. The motor is configured for a 230/460V, 3PH, 60Hz power supply, uses an across-the-line starting method, and is housed in a NEMA 256 frame. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes a drip pan and a standard coupler guard, with connection provided by a Woods coupler. This pump is EISA compliant with a DOE PEI of 0.89 and an HI energy rating of 11, and it is rated for a 40°C ambient environment.
