This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit consists of a cast iron casing with an integrated bronze wear ring and a 7-1/4" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller. It is configured with a stainless steel shaft, a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve, and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent circulating fluid from contacting the shaft during operation.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 1-1/2 HP TEFC Baldor motor in a 145 T frame. It is configured for 230-460/60/3 PH power and utilizes across the line starting. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. This configuration includes AEGIS shaft grounding and maintains a DOE PEI value of 0.88.
