This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses an 11" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, paired with a cast iron casing and a bronze wear ring. The pump assembly includes a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal composed of a tungsten carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The unit is rated for clean water temperatures up to 300°F. The dry shaft design prevents contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft.
The pump is configured with a 25 HP Baldor motor in a 284T NEMA frame with an ODP enclosure. It operates at 1750 RPM on a 230-460/60/3 power supply using an across-the-line starting option. The assembly includes a welded base with a drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. A Woods coupler connects the pump to the motor, which features greasable bearings and AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor meets NEMA Premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55, and the unit maintains a PEI of 0.97.
