This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge. The unit includes a 7-1/4" nominal impeller diameter constructed of stainless steel (NSF61) and is housed in a cast iron casing and cover. It utilizes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that isolates the shaft from circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250°F. This model is configured with ANSI Class 250 flanges without a wear ring. Standard features include pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections and flush seal line taps.
The pump uses a 1 HP Baldor TEFC motor operating at 1150 RPM. It is built with a 145 JM motor frame with feet and is rated for a 230-460V, 3PH, 60Hz power supply. The motor meets Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The configuration uses across the line starting and CCW rotation. The unit is rated for 40°C ambient temperature under NEMA standards. The assembly utilizes a rear pullout design to facilitate maintenance without disturbing the system piping.
