This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design and includes a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The assembly includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pull-out design allows for maintenance without disturbing system piping, while the top center-line discharge simplifies piping layouts.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 1-1/2 HP Baldor motor. This motor features an ODP enclosure, a JM frame style with feet, and premium efficiency ratings that meet MG1-12.55 standards, including AEGIS shaft grounding. The electrical configuration is 230-460V/60Hz/3PH with across-the-line starting and 40°C ambient temperature tolerance. The unit is built to NEMA standards and maintains a DOE PEI rating of 0.86.
