This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 2" suction and 1-1/4" discharge. It utilizes a 7-1/4" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, paired with a stainless steel shaft and a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The unit uses a mechanical seal with a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for fluid temperatures up to 250°F. This pump is configured for clean water applications and includes ANSI Class 125 flanges. The design incorporates a dry shaft to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 2 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and NEMA 145T frame. It is configured for a 200V/60Hz/3PH power supply with across-the-line starting. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and includes an OSHA and a Woods coupler. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and features AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit operates at a 40°C ambient temperature and has a DOE PEI of 0.81.
