This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump construction includes a cast iron casing, a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The design incorporates a dry shaft to isolate the pump shaft from the circulating fluid and includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 40 HP WEG TEFC motor in a NEMA 324TS frame. It is configured for 380V, 60Hz, 3PH power and meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The unit is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and uses a Woods coupler. This assembly includes an across the line starting option and holds a PEI rating of 0.91.
