This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge ports utilizing ANSI Class 125 flanges. It incorporates a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft sleeve. The construction includes a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump uses a dry shaft design and includes flush seal line taps along with pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout configuration allows for servicing without disturbing the connected system piping.
The pump is powered by a 5 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure and a JM frame style with feet. It operates at 1750 RPM on 230-460/60/3 power. The motor meets NEMA standards and premium efficiency ratings per MG1-12.55. It is equipped with AEGIS shaft grounding and utilizes an across-the-line starting configuration. The unit is rated for a 40°C ambient environment, features CCW rotation, and maintains a DOE PEI value of 0.93.
