This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction and a 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It incorporates a dry shaft design using a stainless steel shaft and a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250°F. The casing includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections and provides a center-line discharge for air venting.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 40 HP Baldor ODP motor in a NEMA 324 T frame. It is configured for 230-460/60/3PH electrical service and utilizes an across-the-line starting option. The motor is premium efficiency, meets MG1-12.55 standards, and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded structural steel base equipped with an integral drip pan and a standard Woods coupler guard. The system utilizes greasable bearings and achieves a DOE PEI of 0.93.
