This base-mounted end suction pump comprises a class 30 cast iron casing and a bronze impeller. The assembly utilizes a stainless steel shaft paired with a bronze shaft sleeve, which prevents fluid contact with the shaft through a dry shaft design rated for 125 PSI. A mechanical seal incorporating a ceramic seat and EPT rubber ensures fluid containment. This unit is engineered with pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections to facilitate system monitoring and maintenance.
The motor provides 25 HP, Premium Efficiency, TEFC, 1750 RPM, with Aegis Grounding, operating on 380-460V / 3PH power with a DOE PEI of 0.48. The "S" in the SFI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
