This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 13-1/2" nominal impeller diameter made of bronze. The pump assembly uses a stainless steel shaft protected by a bronze shaft sleeve, following a dry shaft design that prevents circulating fluid from contacting the shaft. The mechanical seal is configured with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and is rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The casing includes pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections and supports a flush seal line.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 60 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a NEMA 364 T-frame. The electrical configuration supports 230-460V, 3PH, 60Hz power with an across-the-line starting option. The motor meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is mounted on a welded base that features an integral drip pan, a Woods coupler, and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. This assembly is rated for 40°C ambient operation and has a DOE PEI rating of 0.92.
