This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features an 8" suction and 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes an 11" nominal impeller diameter housed in a cast iron casing, with a bronze impeller and bronze shaft sleeve. The unit incorporates a dry shaft design to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid and includes a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. It is rated for fluid temperatures up to 250°F. The pump features flush seal line taps and a rear pullout design that allows for maintenance without disturbing system piping. The top center line discharge configuration assists with self-venting.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 40 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure. It is configured for a 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply using an across the line starting method. The motor is built on a 324JM frame style with feet and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards, including the addition of AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature and features a DOE PEI of 0.92. This configuration does not include a drip cover.
