This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and 1-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump uses an 11-1/4" nominal bronze impeller, a cast iron casing, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design with a slip-on shaft sleeve to facilitate maintenance. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The assembly includes flush seal line taps, pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, and a rear pullout design for service access. The top center line discharge configuration assists in self-venting and simplifies piping layouts.
The pump is configured with a 1-1/2 HP Baldor motor in an ODP enclosure, operating at 1150 RPM. It operates on 230-460V, 3PH, 60Hz power with across-the-line starting. The motor is built on a 182 JM frame with feet and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. Additional features include AEGIS shaft grounding and a 40°C ambient temperature rating. The motor rotation is counter-clockwise.
