This Taco CI Series close coupled end suction pump features a 2" suction port and a 1-1/4" discharge port with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 6-1/4" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, paired with a cast iron casing. The unit incorporates a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, allowing operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The pump is designed with a rear pullout configuration and top center line discharge, which facilitates maintenance and reduces piping strain.
The pump is powered by a 5 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure and is configured with an across the line starting option. It operates at 3450 RPM and utilizes a 200V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply. The motor uses a 184JM frame style with feet and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. This unit meets NEMA standards for premium efficiency as defined by MG1-12.55, with an energy performance index of 0.92. Pressure tappings are provided on both the suction and discharge connections for system monitoring.
