This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and 1-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The pump employs a dry shaft design that eliminates contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. It includes a rear pullout design for servicing, flush seal line taps for particle filtration, and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A top center line discharge configuration facilitates piping layout.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is driven by a 10 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and AEGIS shaft grounding. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3PH power supply with an across-the-line starting option. The motor is mounted in a JM frame with feet and is rated for a 40 °C ambient temperature. This unit meets NEMA premium efficiency standards, and the pump maintains a DOE PEI of 0.87.
