This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 2-1/2" suction and 2" discharge ports equipped with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal assembly includes a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250°F. The pump assembly uses a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the pumped fluid and the shaft. Pressure tappings are located at both the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 3 HP Baldor Super E premium efficiency motor with a TEFC enclosure. It is configured for 230/460V, 60Hz, 3PH power and utilizes across the line starting. The motor is mounted in a NEMA 182 frame on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler with a guard. The unit features a power frame size H and is rated for a 40°C ambient environment. This pump is EISA compliant with a DOE PEI value of 0.86 and an HI energy rating of 14. It includes AEGIS shaft grounding.
