This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction port and a 4" discharge port with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller with a 13-1/2" nominal diameter. It incorporates a stainless steel shaft, a bronze shaft sleeve, and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and Buna rubber. The assembly is rated for fluid temperatures up to 225°F and does not include a wear ring. The unit utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft.
The unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 50 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 power supply and utilizes a NEMA 326 T-frame. The pump includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA Premium Efficiency MG1-12.55 standards. Mounting is provided by a welded base that includes a drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. The assembly maintains a PEI value of 0.92 and employs an across the line starting option.
