This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction connection and a 1-1/2" discharge connection with ANSI Class 250 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250 °F. Pressure tappings are integrated into the suction and discharge connections to facilitate system monitoring.
This pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 5 HP TEFC motor manufactured by WEG. It uses an 184T NEMA motor frame and is configured for a 380V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply with across the line starting. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integrated drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a standard guard. This unit meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards, features a PEI of 0.91, and is rated for a 40 °C ambient temperature.
