This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction connection and a 2-1/2" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses an 11" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller housed in a cast iron casing. The pump assembly incorporates a stainless steel shaft protected by a bronze shaft sleeve and utilizes a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and is rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The unit also includes AEGIS shaft grounding to protect the motor bearings.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. The motor is configured in a 213 NEMA T-frame and is compatible with a 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply using across-the-line starting. The system is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and connects to the motor using a Woods coupler. This unit meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55, carries a PEI rating of 0.87, and is rated for a 40°C ambient environment.
