This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It is equipped with a bronze wear ring and a stainless steel shaft protected by a bronze shaft sleeve. The unit utilizes a dry shaft design and a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250 °F.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 2 HP Baldor TEFC premium efficiency motor in a NEMA 145 T-frame. The motor requires 230-460/60/3 PH power and is configured with an across the line starting option and AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes a drip pan, a Woods coupler, and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The system maintains a 40 °C ambient rating and has a DOE PEI of 0.91.
