This base-mounted end suction pump utilizes a cast iron casing with a bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft. The dry shaft design prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid, while a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve facilitates maintenance. The mechanical seal assembly incorporates a ceramic seat with EPT rubber components to support internal system pressures up to 125 PSI.
The motor is a 20 HP Premium Efficiency TEFC unit operating at 1750 RPM, equipped with Aegis Grounding and a 380-460V / 3PH power supply, resulting in a DOE PEI of 0.46. The 'S' in the SCI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
