This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2" suction connection and a 1-1/4" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit utilizes a 6-1/4" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, housed within a cast iron casing. It includes a stainless steel shaft paired with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that isolates the fluid from the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. This configuration does not include a wear ring.
This pump operates at 3450 RPM and is driven by a 3 HP Baldor TEFC motor. The motor is configured for a 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply and is mounted to a NEMA 182T frame. The assembly includes a welded base with an integrated drip pan and a Woods coupler. The motor meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes an AEGIS shaft grounding ring. The pump rotation is set to CCW with a 40°C ambient temperature rating, and the unit has a pump energy index (PEI) of 0.94.
