This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a 13-1/2" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller and a cast iron casing equipped with a bronze wear ring. The pump utilizes a stainless steel shaft paired with a bronze shaft sleeve to maintain a dry shaft design. It is configured with a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for fluid temperatures up to 250°F. The casing includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections to facilitate system monitoring.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. This motor is built to NEMA 256 T-frame specifications and operates on 230-460/60/3 PH power. The assembly features an across-the-line starting option, premium efficiency performance meeting MG1-12.55 standards, and an AEGIS shaft grounding device. The pump system is mounted on a welded base that incorporates a drip pan and is connected to the motor via a Woods coupler covered by an OSHA-compliant guard. The unit maintains a DOE PEI of 0.9.
