This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. The pump uses a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid. A mechanical seal is included, consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for a maximum temperature of 250°F. The unit incorporates flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing the system piping, while the top centerline discharge configuration simplifies piping layouts.
This unit is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a 254 JM frame style with feet. It operates at 1150 RPM and is configured for 230/460V, 60Hz, 3PH power with an Across the Line starting option. The motor is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature and adheres to NEMA standards. It meets Premium Efficiency MG1-12.55 requirements and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump rotation is counter-clockwise.
