This base-mounted end suction pump integrates a cast iron casing with center-line discharge and a bronze impeller. The design utilizes a dry shaft configuration that prevents circulating fluid from contacting the stainless steel shaft, which is covered by a bronze shaft sleeve. For sealing, the assembly incorporates a ceramic seat and EPT rubber mechanical seal, and the system maintains a pressure rating of 125 PSI. Pressure tappings are provided on both suction and discharge connections, along with flush seal line taps that facilitate the addition of an external filtration component to protect the seal.
Power is provided by a 20 HP Premium Efficiency TEFC motor operating at 1750 RPM with Aegis Grounding at 200-230V and 3PH, maintaining a DOE PEI of 0.46. The 'S' in this pump series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 1 / IP 21 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
