This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing with an integrated bronze wear ring. The rotating assembly utilizes a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve to facilitate maintenance and prevent fluid contact. A mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber components allows for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The casing incorporates pressure tappings at the suction and discharge connections.
This unit is powered by a 5 HP Baldor Super E Premium Efficiency motor with an ODP enclosure, meeting NEMA MG1-12.55 standards. The motor is a NEMA 184 T frame, configured for 230-460/60/3 PH electrical service and operates at 1750 RPM with across the line starting. The pump is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and is connected to the motor using a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. The assembly is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature and maintains a DOE PEI value of 0.86.
