This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction connection and a 3" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller, and a bronze wear ring. The assembly uses a 9-1/2" nominal impeller diameter and a replaceable, slip-on shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and the unit is rated for fluid temperatures up to 250 °F. The design incorporates a dry shaft, flush seal line taps for filtration, and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout configuration allows for servicing without disturbing system piping.
This pump is driven by a 10 HP, 1750 RPM WEG motor with a TEFC enclosure and AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor is a JM frame style with feet and is configured for 230-460V, 3PH, 60Hz power supply with an across-the-line starting option. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards as defined in MG1-12.55. The pump system has a DOE PEI of 0.9 and is rated for a maximum ambient temperature of 40 °C.
