This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction connection and 2" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The unit incorporates flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design allows for maintenance without disturbing the system piping, and the top center line discharge assists with self-venting.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 40 HP WEG motor with an ODP enclosure and AEGIS shaft grounding. It is configured for a 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply and uses an across-the-line starting option. The motor is built on a 286 JM frame with feet and meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. This model has a DOE PEI of 0.89 and is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature.
