This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 1-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing. The assembly includes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. This unit is constructed without a wear ring.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 15 HP Baldor motor in a NEMA 215 T frame with an ODP enclosure. The electrical configuration is 230-460/60/3PH with an Across the Line starting option. It includes AEGIS shaft grounding and greasable bearings housed within the bearing frame. The pump is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard, connecting to the motor via a Wood's coupler. This equipment meets NEMA standard MG1-12.55 premium efficiency ratings and has a DOE PEI of 0.88.
