This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with an 11" nominal diameter, and a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The unit includes flush seal line taps, pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, and a rear pullout design for servicing without disturbing system piping.
The pump is driven by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor ODP motor operating at 1750 RPM. It uses 230/460V, 3PH, 60Hz power with across-the-line starting and meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. The assembly includes AEGIS shaft grounding and a 213 JM motor frame with feet. The unit features counter-clockwise rotation, a 40°C ambient rating, and a DOE PEI of 0.86.
