This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with ANSI Class 125 flanges and a bronze wear ring. The unit utilizes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. It includes a 2" suction connection and a 1-1/4" discharge connection. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The pump design incorporates flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for servicing the internal components without disturbing the system piping.
This pump is configured with a 1 HP Baldor TEFC motor mounted in a 143 JM frame with feet. It operates at 1750 RPM and is compatible with a 200V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply. The unit utilizes an across-the-line starting option and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and carries a PEI value of 0.78. The top centerline discharge design is provided to simplify piping layouts and reduce system strain.
