This Taco CI Series close coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design that prevents contact with the circulating fluid and utilizes a slip-on shaft sleeve to assist in seal maintenance. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and is rated for operation at temperatures up to 250 °F. It also features flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The unit is powered by a 2 HP Baldor TEFC motor with a drip cover and AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor is configured for a 230-460/60/3PH power supply and operates at 1750 RPM. It uses a 145 JM frame with feet and CCW rotation, meeting NEMA standards and MG1-12.55 premium efficiency requirements. The pump uses an across the line starting method and operates in a 40 °C ambient environment. This model has a PEI of 0.86 and utilizes a rear pullout design with a top center line discharge.
