This base-mounted end suction pump comprises a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller. The assembly integrates a stainless steel shaft paired with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve, facilitating maintenance. The mechanical design incorporates a dry shaft construction to prevent circulating fluid from contacting the shaft, supporting a 125 PSI operational rating without a wear ring. A mechanical seal with EPT rubber and a ceramic seat manages fluid containment within the pump volute.
The pump utilizes a 25 HP premium efficiency TEFC motor operating at 3450 RPM with Aegis grounding, powered by a 380-460V / 3PH electrical supply, resulting in a DOE PEI rating of 0.45. The S in the series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
