This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction and a 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter, and a bronze wear ring. The assembly uses a stainless steel shaft, a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve, and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The design incorporates a dry shaft construction to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 40 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a 324 T frame. The electrical configuration is 230-460/60/3 PH with an across-the-line starting option and a 40°C ambient temperature rating. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and features a standard Woods coupler protected by a guard. The bearing frame utilizes greasable bearings, and the unit has a PEI value of 0.94.
