This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction connection and a 5" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump casing is constructed of cast iron, housing a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250 °F in clean water applications. Pressure tappings are integrated into the suction and discharge connections for system monitoring.
This unit is powered by a 75 HP Baldor TEFC motor, NEMA frame 365, operating at 1750 RPM. The motor is configured for a 230-460/60/3 power supply and meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. The assembly includes AEGIS shaft grounding, a woods coupler, a standard coupler guard, and is mounted on a welded steel base with an integral drip pan. The system operates at a 40 °C ambient temperature and maintains a DOE PEI rating of 0.93.
