This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 4" suction and 3" discharge. It utilizes an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft with a stainless steel shaft sleeve. The pump design includes ANSI Class 125 flanges and a dry shaft configuration that prevents fluid contact with the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The casing includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 15 HP WEG Super E Premium Efficiency motor. It is configured with a TEFC enclosure, a NEMA 254 T-frame, and a 230-460/60/3PH power supply. The motor uses across the line starting and is rated for a 40°C ambient environment. The assembly includes a welded base with an integral drip pan, a Woods coupler, and a coupler guard. This pump has a PEI value of 0.92 and meets MG1-12.55 efficiency standards.
