This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 5" suction and 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges and a bronze wear ring. It includes a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing. A bronze shaft sleeve is utilized, incorporating a dry shaft design and a slip-on shaft sleeve to facilitate field maintenance. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, capable of operating at temperatures up to 250°F. The pump assembly provides flush seal line taps, suction and discharge pressure tappings, and a rear pullout design for servicing. The top center line discharge configuration assists with piping layouts.
The unit is powered by a 40 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a 324 JM frame with feet. It operates at 1750 RPM on a 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump operates at a 40°C ambient temperature with a PEI of 0.92 and is configured for across the line starting.
