This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing. The unit is constructed with a stainless steel shaft and a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve utilizing a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the fluid and the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for clean water temperatures up to 250 °F. It includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, as well as flush seal line taps.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 15 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a NEMA 254 T-frame. The power supply requirement is 230-460/60/3 PH. The motor features premium efficiency that meets MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan, a Woods coupler, and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The pump is configured for across-the-line starting and holds a PEI of 0.92.
