This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features an 8" suction and 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump construction includes a cast iron casing and an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It is configured with a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, accommodating fluid temperatures up to 250°F. The unit utilizes a rear pullout design to facilitate maintenance, flush seal line taps for filter installation, and a top center line discharge configuration. Pressure tappings are integrated into the suction and discharge connections.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 40 HP Baldor Super E Premium Efficiency motor. The motor is a TEFC, NEMA 324 JM frame style with feet, configured for 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power. It utilizes across-the-line starting and meets MG1-12.55 standards. The assembly is rated with a DOE PEI of 0.92.
