This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2" suction and a 1-1/4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The construction includes a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 6-1/4" nominal diameter, and a bronze wear ring. The unit utilizes a stainless steel shaft paired with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. It is equipped with a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250 °F. Pressure tappings are located on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is driven by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3PH power supply and features a NEMA 184T frame. The assembly includes a welded structural steel base with an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. The motor is a premium efficiency model meeting MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump has a DOE PEI value of 0.94.
